Celebration of National Manufacturing Day

To celebrate National Manufacturing Day, Kawasaki PM, member of the Plymouth Makes Group, came into college on Tuesday, 26 September to deliver a Careers assembly to our Year 10 students.  The assembly gave students an insight into the world of precision engineering at Kawasaki, and our guest speakers spoke to students about their own individual career pathways into the Engineering sector, which included both apprenticeships and university.   

Following the Assembly, the Kawasaki team gave a workshop to Sixth Form Students and Year 10 students about pathways into Engineering and the impact of AI in their workplace.  This was followed by a Q&A session where the students were given the opportunity to ask questions about careers in the Engineering sector.
