Community Provision update September 2020
The College’s main priority is for its students to resume their education. This is starting to take place week commencing Monday, 7 September, with students being made aware of the new necessary procedures to remain safe and alert. The College’s Senior Leadership Team will closely evaluate this transition before making any decisions on extending the College day to include extra-curricular activities, fixtures and community clubs.
As it currently stands there is no fixed date for the re-opening of the sports facilities and fitness suite for public use.
Details of re-opening will be placed on the website to give our valued customers as much information and notice as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you back soon.
Community Sports Development Manager
Ivybridge Community College became a Sports College in 1997. Since then the facilities and sporting provision has increased considerably. To enable public use, the Community Sport Department was opened in 1999. The Department hires out the sports facilities, manages the College’s fitness suite, ‘Ivybridge Health and Fitness Centre’, coordinates activity programmes during the holidays and create links to local sporting clubs.
