We are pleased to inform you that under the new Ofsted Inspection Framework, following their last graded inspection, the College has been recognised as Good in all categories. Inspectors said,

“Pupils are proud to attend Ivybridge. There is a calm, purposeful learning environment throughout the school”

“Leaders are very reflective.  At all levels, they drive improvements to the quality of education with commitment and understanding.  Governors share leaders’ quest to ensure the academic, social and emotional success of all pupils”

Ofsted 2020

The format for school inspections has changed considerably; a new framework for inspection came in to existence at the beginning of September, and as a result we are one of the first schools in the area to be inspected under the new requirements.  The College welcomed the rigour and thoroughness of the new inspection process and the challenges posed so that we can confidently continue our quest for excellence in all aspects.

Ivybridge Community College continues to be a high performing College on so many levels against a number of national and educational accolades.  This was further endorsed by our recent reaccreditations;

  • World Class Schools Quality Mark
  • Princes Teaching Institute - Leadership Award.
