    Welcome to Fashion and Textiles at Ivybridge Community College.

    Our Fashion and Textiles course nurtures creativity, imagination, and technical skill through practical, hands-on learning. Students explore weaving, stitching, printing, garment construction, drawing, and fashion illustration while developing confidence, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills. Working in our specialist textiles studios, with facilities for dyeing, digital embroidery, printing, and fabric manipulation, students are encouraged to express their individuality and take creative risks with expert support.

    Why Study Fashion and Textiles?

    Key areas of study include clothing construction, textile techniques, design for fashion and interiors, drawing and illustration, and modern digital technologies.

    This course provides excellent preparation for careers in fashion design, garment technology, textiles, styling, illustration, pattern cutting, and the wider creative industries.
