Football is a sport for everyone. Whether you play for fun, to socialise, to be active or to be competitive, we can support all of these reasons at the College. It is our vision to get as many people playing football as possible.
Our football initiative is simple. To inspire, support and develop all our students, no matter of their gender, race or ability, to be active, socialise, and to enjoy football. We provide numerous opportunities for girls of all abilities to get involved in football at different intensities.
We aim for all our footballers to have the opportunity to work towards learning new skills, socialise with other children, and compete in competitions and festivals. The Football Academy provides sessions for Year 5 and Year 6 girls and boys of all abilities.
Weetabix Wildcats is a non-competitive football session for Year 3 – 6 girls who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age. Most importantly, Weetabix Wildcats is all about having lots of fun and meeting new friends. The sessions focus on developing your child’s fundamental movement skills, agility, balance, coordination and speed, skills required not only for football but for all sports.
