Lizzie’s Geocaching Adventure
Ivybridge Community College Year 9 student, Lizzie, has made the most of her time during lockdown.
She has taken up ‘geocaching’, and describes it as “a treasure hunt with a twist.”
Lizzie said, “Geocaches are little boxes hidden for people to find. Some can be obvious, but some are very sneaky and hard to find. Once you've found one you write your name and date on the log inside, then log it on the app. It's really frustrating when you can't find one but so satisfying when you do.
A free app shows where all the caches are round the world. I recommend adventurous people try it. I’ll bet there's one near you!”
