Sixth Form Chemistry Olympiad
Sixth Form students take part in UK competition answering a challenging A Level Chemistry exam.
In January a group of Sixth Form Chemistry students took part in the RSC Chemistry Olympiad. The Olympiad is a competition in which students from across the UK attempt to answer a challenging exam-style paper. The students had to apply their knowledge from A Level Chemistry and although many of the questions stretched the students, their perseverance paid off. The results of the competition were announced last week and Thomas Nicholas and Josie Baker achieved Bronze Awards. The students would like to thank Dr Kershaw for entering them, marking papers and supporting them throughout the competition.
