We give children of all ages, from both Ivybridge Community College and from our feeder primary schools, wonderful opportunities to perform. Whether they are passionate about dancing, acting, playing music, or performing gymnastics, we encourage students to experience a wide variety of performance arts, learn new skills and discover their hidden talents.

The Department also runs Ivybridge Music Centre sessions funded by DMEH (Devon Music Education Hub), which is a weekly workshop incorporating young musicians from the College’s partner primary schools. With the help of the instrumental staff, instrumental tuition is given together with a general enrichment programme of study, including a range of ensembles such as Ivybridge Junior Orchestra.
