    • 82.9% of students achieved grade 4 or above in both English and Mathematics

These results place Ivybridge Community College at the forefront of academic performance among non-selective schools in the region, demonstrating the College's commitment to securing exceptional outcomes for young people of all abilities and backgrounds.

Tim Cresswell, Deputy Principal at Ivybridge Community College, said:
"We are absolutely delighted with the achievements of our students. These results are the culmination of years of hard work, commitment and determination. Our young people turn up every day, work incredibly hard and make the most of the opportunities provided by their teachers. Of course, excellent examination results matter enormously. They open doors, create opportunities and give young people choices about their futures. But we are equally proud of the character our students develop along the way – the resilience, ambition, grit and determination that will serve them throughout their lives."

    Deputy Principal Nichola Offer, said:
"It has been wonderful to hear about the successes of our former Year 11 students as they take their next steps. Many have remained with us in our Sixth Form, pursuing A Level qualifications with ambitions for university, higher apprenticeships and professional careers, including Military Officer training. Others have progressed to colleges, apprenticeships and alternative pathways and we have been delighted to welcome students back to share news of their experiences and achievements. As a Community College, we celebrate these results with our Ivybridge families and, most importantly, for our students. Behind every grade is a young person whose hard work has secured qualifications that can genuinely change the course of their life.”

    College Principal, Rachel Hutchinson, said:
"I would like to thank our exceptional staff for the countless hours of preparation, teaching, support and encouragement they provide and a very special thanks to our parents and carers for the trust they place in us to educate and care for their children, and for the vital part they play in their success.  Our thanks also go to our colleagues across the Westcountry Schools Trust, whose support and shared ambition help us continually strive to provide the very best education for our young people. Above all, congratulations to our students. These are their achievements and we could not be prouder of them."

Ivybridge Community College remains committed to its vision, to strive for academic excellence, develop character and provide exceptional opportunities for all.
