On Friday, 24 May, the final day before half term, staff at Ivybridge Community College were privileged to watch a showcase performance of ‘When we were young’, by Adele, sung by Maisie Frickleton (also an England football player) and accompanied on the piano by Hannah Ganderton, who are both Year 10 students.
On Tuesday, 7 May, Ivybridge Community College hosted the “Ogden Physics Event”.
Ivybridge Community College Year 10 student Felix Wood is riding his bike, along with his father, from Land’s End to John O’ Groats.
Ivybridge Community College Year 8 student, Thomas Jones, ran the London Mini Marathon (the last 3 miles of the full event) on Sunday, 28 April.

Ivybridge Community College Year 10 student, Jake Myers, competed in Austria as part of the Nations Cup Great Britain Pony Team.
The Under 14 and Under 15 Rugby Teams representing Ivybridge Community College travelled to Portugal, during the Easter holiday for a 5 day tour, during which they competed in the Rugby Youth Festival in Lisbon.
Ivybridge Community College enjoyed another year of incredible accomplishment at the Ten Tors expedition held over the weekend of Saturday, 11 May and Sunday, 12 May.
Staff and students at Ivybridge Community College were delighted to learn that important issues they had raised and discussed during meetings last year with Sir Gary Streeter to gather views concerning the Green Paper based around children’s mental health provision, had been presented in a speech at Westminster.
On Friday 3 May, staff at Ivybridge Community College showed great solidarity when they dressed in pink to support the United Nations Anti-Bullying Day.
