  • History Comes Alive in Berlin

A group of 40 Year 11 students have recently returned from a powerful and insightful History expedition to Berlin.

Over the course of the visit, students explored pivotal sites that brought their curriculum to life.

Highlights included a visit to the Reichstag, home to the German Parliament.

There were some sombre parts of the trip too, including a tour of the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp as well as some time to reflect at the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.

As part of their time abroad, students also participated in an exploration of the Topography of Terror museum.

In addition, the trip also included a visit to the historic Olympic Stadium, taking in some incredible views from the TV Tower.

Our students were truly exceptional in their conduct, engagement, and respectful approach to these hugely significant sites.

    They represented the College brilliantly
