Do you know someone who loves dancing? Do they have a passion for performing? Are they aged 11-17yrs? YDA is looking for talented young performers to join our Programmes in Exeter (Contemporary) and Swindon (Contemporary & Urban) starting in September 2017. No previous experience is necessary, just the passion to perform, commitment and potential to explore a career in dance.

Youth Dance Academy (YDA) is a Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) which provides pre-vocational training in dance, taught by prominent artists and choreographers. YDA dancers are mentored via plans based on their individual goals, training needs and aspirations. Taking part can lead to a future career in the dance industry.

Auditions are being held throughout June and July. Applicants will take part in a practical session and there will be a chance for them to perform their own choreography followed by an informal interview with the panel.
