    • Judo success leads to England call up! ​

    Ivybridge Community College’s Pierre Michelin, in Year 8, competed in the Years 8/9 U66kg category at the British Schools National Championships on Saturday, 2 April in Sheffield.

    Following a successful series of fights he came home with The Gold! So he is now a British Champion!

    Since becoming British Schools Champion, Pierre has been selected to be part of the England Squad Judo Pre-cadets, the first step on the British Judo performance pathway. “This is a massive achievement and we look forward to celebrating further successes in the future.”
