Ivybridge Community College Year 11 student, Reid Jones, has qualified and will be swimming in no less than 9 events, at the British Summer Championships.

On Friday, 11 May, the Modern Foreign Languages Department took eighty committed and energetic Year 7 students to France on a four day trip to practise and improve the French they had been learning at the College during the year.
On Wednesday, 6 June, Ivybridge Community College’s Sports Academy welcomed Ann Daniels, Polar Explorer to speak at the College. She gave a talk on the adversity she has faced in her life as a successful woman and the difficulties she has overcome.
Year 9 student, Jake Myers, has qualified for the Horse of the Year Show for the second year running.
On Monday, 21 May Ivybridge Community College Principal, Rachel Hutchinson, presented Lee Spencer with a cheque for an amazing £2,083.41.
As a warm up for the Easter Grade Three Tennis Tournaments, Ivybridge Community College students and Ivybridge Academy Tennis players, Leighton Starkie in Year 8 and Joe Kellett in Year 11, entered an Under 16 Grade Four event in Somerset, resulting in the pair winning the Under16 Boys Doubles, and Joe winning the Under 16 Boys' Singles.
