On Monday, 17th December, Ivybridge Community College welcomed representatives from the Police, Fire and Ambulance services to talk to students in Years 10 and 11.
Former Ivybridge Community College student, Matthew Norton, who studied A Levels in Geography, Maths, Physics and the Extended Project Qualification, has recently received a Bangor University Excellence Scholarship, worth £3,500.
In December, student representatives from Ivybridge Community College visited St Luke’s Hospice and presented them with a cheque for £1938.13.
At the end of last term students, parents and staff were invited to donate food and gifts to support local community projects.

The Careers Fair held on Wednesday, 21 November 2018 at Ivybridge Community College was a very busy event. Over forty five organisations and training providers from Plymouth and the South West were present, with over 800 students and parents attending.
In November, Ivybridge Community College Year 13 student, Abbie Tweedle, donated 15 inches of her hair for both The Little Princess Trust and Cancer Research UK after seeing first-hand the devastating impacts that both cancer and hair loss can have on individuals and their families.
