A message has been broadcast to students to let them know the situation and they will be able to use their mobile phones to contact you from 2.30pm to ensure they are clear on their travel arrangements for today.  For example, a prior arrangement being made with your child to collect them.

      Dear Parents/Carers

I wish to thank both students and staff at the College for their efforts in effectively managing the weather challenges we faced today.

Consequently, please be aware that unless you see on the College website or hear in the local media, we will be open tomorrow (Friday, 1 February 2019).  Also, parents are able to see which schools are closed by visiting Devon County Council’s school closure information.

We will of course continue to carefully monitor the weather conditions overnight and campus staff will be in College early in the morning to provide an assessment with regard to the safety of our site for our students.

Finally, may I thank you again for your support.

      Yours faithfully

      Rachel Hutchinson

      Principal
