During the month of April, Fire Officers from Devon Fire and Rescue visited Ivybridge Community College to talk to Year 7 and Year 10 students.
Ivybridge Community College students Zach Anderson in Year 8, Josh Freeman in Year 9 and Joshua Gibbs in Year 10, competed in the British Elite Junior Diving Championships 2019 over the Easter holidays from 11 - 14 April, at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

On Friday, 5 April, Ivybridge Community College were privileged to host a visit from Luke Pollard, Labour MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport, who took time out from his busy schedule in the midst of Brexit negotiations and multiple votes in Parliament in order to deliver a Question and Answer session.

On Monday, 1 April the Learning Resource Centre welcomed Adisa as part of the on-going celebrations of Book Quest, the College’s reading challenge.
Over the weekend of March 30 and 31, Ivybridge Community College students competed in the Team and Individual Schools Dressage Competition at Bicton Arena.
On Thursday, 28 March, Ivybridge Community College was delighted to welcome the acclaimed writer, Dan Freedman, bestselling author of the Jamie Johnson series.
It has been a busy term for Girls’ Rugby at the College, with players playing not only for their own teams, but also for the local club side, and a few attended the Devon Selection Days, with the hope of representing their county.
Students at Ivybridge Community College, together with over 260,000 students from across the country, participated in the Intermediate Mathematics Challenge recently.
Ivybridge Community College Year 12 student, Phoebe Lansley, recently took part in the nation’s biggest rowing event, the National Indoor Junior Rowing Championships (NJIRC).
