Ivybridge Community College Year 10 student, Jake Myers, competed in Austria as part of the Nations Cup Great Britain Pony Team.
The Under 14 and Under 15 Rugby Teams representing Ivybridge Community College travelled to Portugal, during the Easter holiday for a 5 day tour, during which they competed in the Rugby Youth Festival in Lisbon.
Ivybridge Community College enjoyed another year of incredible accomplishment at the Ten Tors expedition held over the weekend of Saturday, 11 May and Sunday, 12 May.
Staff and students at Ivybridge Community College were delighted to learn that important issues they had raised and discussed during meetings last year with Sir Gary Streeter to gather views concerning the Green Paper based around children’s mental health provision, had been presented in a speech at Westminster.
On Friday 3 May, staff at Ivybridge Community College showed great solidarity when they dressed in pink to support the United Nations Anti-Bullying Day.
On Friday, 3 May the Ivybridge Community College Under 13 Girls’ Football FUTSAL Team made College history becoming the first Girls’ Football Team to reach a National Final.
We are delighted to have received this picture sent to us by the Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust, the charity for our Science Week mufti day. Thank you so much for everything you did to support this fundraising; money will be put towards scientific research for the purposes of conservation and paying for students to be able to go to school.
During the month of April, Fire Officers from Devon Fire and Rescue visited Ivybridge Community College to talk to Year 7 and Year 10 students.
Ivybridge Community College students Zach Anderson in Year 8, Josh Freeman in Year 9 and Joshua Gibbs in Year 10, competed in the British Elite Junior Diving Championships 2019 over the Easter holidays from 11 - 14 April, at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

On Friday, 5 April, Ivybridge Community College were privileged to host a visit from Luke Pollard, Labour MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport, who took time out from his busy schedule in the midst of Brexit negotiations and multiple votes in Parliament in order to deliver a Question and Answer session.
