Students representing Ivybridge Community College attended the Remembrance service in Ivybridge on Sunday, 10 November; along with the Principal and other senior members of staff.
Ivybridge Community College A Level Drama student, Sam Fogg, was selected to attend a week of (Frantic Ignition) workshops, in October, run by the reputable physical theatre company, Frantic Assembly in London.
We are delighted that Tiana Campbell in Year 9 was recently invited to attend the England Schools FA Under 15 trials, in Bristol, and consequently she has received the news that she has been accepted on the team, presently as a reserve.

Ivybridge Community College Year 11 student, Jake Myers had an amazing time competing at the English Home Pony International show in Cheshire over half term. At this event Jake rode Razorlite, representing England in the 148cm Pony Team where they took the Gold medal.
The Anti-bullying Ambassador team are proud to announce that they have been awarded the Diana Award Well-being Badge. Over the last few months students and staff have been working on various projects to ensure that everyone at Ivybridge Community College is working together to promote anti-bullying.
Year 7 students and the College Sustainability Group, conducted another audit to analyse the types of waste the College produces.
Ivybridge Community College Year 10 student, Leah Kelley, sang the national anthem at the opening ceremony of the 2019 World Age Group Underwater Hockey Championships, in August.
Former Ivybridge Community College student, Alyssa Oates, has represented Great Britain twice this year in the sport of Underwater Hockey. In July she was selected for the Elite Ladies team, who won a Silver medal at the European Underwater Hockey Championships in Spain.
In September just under 400 students in Years 11 and 13 in the academic year of 2018-19 were nominated by their teachers for either their outstanding Endeavour or excellent Academic Achievements.
Ivybridge Community College Year 11 student, Tommy Chapman, has spent his summer holiday volunteering in Thailand in order to help those children who were affected by the Boxing Day Tsunami of 2004.
