Helen Reddy, Head of Performing Arts at Ivybridge Community College, has been awarded a BEM in the Queen’s New Year Honours list. Helen has been awarded the BEM in recognition of her Services to Educational Gymnastics.
On Monday, 16 December, the Ivybridge Community College U15 Rugby Team sealed a victory in the Natwest National Schools Cup over rivals Crediton, securing their place as one of the last 16 schools in the tournament.

In November, Ivybridge Community College students Lucy Barnfield, in Year 11, and her sister Chloe, in Year 9, travelled to Blackpool to compete in the three day National Supadance Finals.
In December, Ivybridge Community College Year 12 student, Pierre Michelin, competed at the British Judo National Championships held at the ‘English Institute of Sport’ in Sheffield.

In November, Ivybridge Community College Wellbeing Ambassadors from Years 10 and 11 met Aron Struminski from the Exeter Chiefs Community Department.
Ivybridge Community College Year 8 Student, Maia Phippen, shares her experiences and dreams of becoming an actress, and the news that she has a part in Enid Blyton's classic book series Malory Towers which is currently being adapted into a 13-part drama for CBBC.
