Ivybridge Community College Year 7 student, Harriet Meadows, has successfully secured a place to perform in Swan Lake with The Birmingham Royal Ballet on Tuesday, 31 March at Plymouth's Theatre Royal in a production called ‘Swan Lake Dreams’.
The Ivybridge Community College Year 10 Rugby Team travelled to Chippenham on Thursday, 9 January, to play against Beechen Cliff School, Bath, in the National Schools’ Rugby Cup competition.
Ivybridge Community College are delighted to announce that their U15 (Years 9 and 10) Girls' Football Team have made their way to the last 32 of the U15 Girls' National Cup.
Sir Gary Streeter graciously accepted an invitation to attend a gymnastics performance at the College, based on the theme of ‘The Hunger Games’, on Monday, 6 January.
Last term, Ivybridge Community College Year 10 students attended a Mathematics Taster Day at Plymouth University.
Sporting Leadership students at Ivybridge Community College are regularly involved in numerous events supporting the local Primary Schools’ sporting events, both at the College and in the wider community.
At the end of last term students, parents and staff were invited to donate food and gifts to support local community projects over the Christmas period.
Ivybridge Community College is delighted to announce that, together with the Football Association (FA) and Youth Sport Trust (YST), they have joined in a nationwide initiative to give every girl access to football, and therefore increase the number of girls who play football in England, by 2024.
Ivybridge Community College is continuously looking for ways to improve the environment. The Sustainability Club has implemented various changes to try and do their bit for some of the environmental issues that we are facing at the moment.
Over the weekend of Saturday, 14 and Sunday, 15 December, Ivybridge Community College Year 9 student, Ellie Sara attended an England U14 Girls’ Football Training Camp, at Warwick University.
In December, Ivybridge Community College welcomed Jill Chapman, MCSP SRP.
