Traditionally students in Years 11 and 13, have as part of their almost ‘rite of passage’ celebrated their last day as either a Year 11 or Year 13 student.
On Thursday, 5 March, Ivybridge Community College students Katie Dilloway and Ayden Cutland, both in Year 8, and Lucy Andrade May and Matthew Gilvear, in Year 9, represented the College in the regional finals of the UKMT Team Challenge which was held at Coombe Dean School.
Ivybridge Community College is delighted to announce that Leighton Starkie, in Year 10, Grace Kellett, in Year 11, and Joe Kellett, in Year 13, have all been selected for the Devon U18 County Tennis Teams.
** Stop Press**The Year 10 Rugby Team won on tries with the final score at 22 - 22 against Harrow School in the semi-final of the National Schools’ Rugby Cup competition today. Next stop....the Cup Final at Twickenham!
**Stop Press**The Boys’ U15 Football Team is through to the National Cup semi-final having beaten Dorothy Stringer High School from Brighton, 8 – 1 today.
**Stop Press**The U13 Netball Team is the South West Netball Champions having won the U13 Netball Tournament on Tuesday, 3 March.
Ivybridge Community College had the privilege of hosting Lee Spencer ‘The Rowing Marine’ for the day on Wednesday, 26 February to deliver a variety of sessions to students.
