Former Ivybridge Community College student, Cameron Sangster, visited the College recently and donated more than 50 pairs of moulded stud football boots for use by students on the new 3G pitch.
Every year, staff and students at Ivybridge Community College participate in World Book Day. It is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to escape into the world of books.
Ivybridge Community College Year 11 student and cyclist, Ollie Murphy, continued his run of good form over the winter season, winning two races at the Soggy Bottom XC Winter Series at Newnham Park, Plymouth at the end of 2021.
The Sustainability Group at Ivybridge Community College, recently organised a beach clean at Mothecombe Beach.
College dominates SW Schools Floor and Vault Championships
During Children’s Mental Health Week, 7–11 February, the Anti-Bullying and Equality Ambassadors at Ivybridge Community College have led on a variety of projects to spread understanding and provide support to their peers.
The theme for Safer Internet Day 2022, on Tuesday, 8 February, is ‘All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online’.
Thursday, 3 February saw the return of Harry Potter Day in the Learning Resource Centre at Ivybridge Community College.
Ivybridge Community College Year 7 students enjoyed a day of orienteering, team work challenges and den building at the National Trust’s Killerton estate, in Exeter, on Wednesday, 19 January 2022.
Paralympian David Hill visited Ivybridge Community College in January, to provide the first part of the Active in Mind programme and also deliver a presentation to the Years 7 and 8 Gymnastics and Netball Academy students.
