National Teams, National Gym Medals and Rugby Redemption

Over the past couple of weeks, the College has, yet again, seen a variety of sporting achievements by its students.

These have ranged from being called up to national level teams, through to winning the latest fixture, through to achieving medals and even a trophy at major tournaments.

-------

The College would first like to congratulate Year 7’s Daisy Luke (pictured), who over the Easter break, was selected to play in Oxford against Wycombe Wanderers for the Plymouth Argyle Under 15 First team.

--------

Meanwhile, we would also like to recognise Netball star Lucy Crawford (pictured), who was invited to take on some other stars (the Severn Stars Netball team) as part of the Team Bath Under 17 team.

Well done to Lucy whose team went on to win on the day.

--------

Meanwhile, back on the football pitch, the Under 13 Girls Football team were involved in a South Hams derby, but played brilliantly and recorded a 3-0 winning score-line.

--------

We would also like to congratulate the Elite Gymnastics team following their appearance at the British Schools Finals.

Twenty – nine of our students represented both the College as well as the wider South West region and we are pleased to announce that they took a fabulous, four silver medals in the Acrobatics and Artistic Gymnastics competitions.

A very well done to all involved.

--------

And finally, last but not least, after coming so close to winning their tournament last year at the Portugal Youth Rugby festival, we are delighted that our Year 10 Rugby Elite Team (pictured) went one step further and won the vase, having shared their group with teams from across England as well as a team from Scotland and Portugal too.

--------

The College would, once again, like to congratulate all its students on their sporting successes and cannot wait to share more good news in the future.
