		Leading Edge School. Ivybridge Community College participates in the Leading Edge Initiative.

		Training School. Ivybridge Community College is an active Training School and gained sole Training School status in 2007.

		Specialist College. Ivybridge Community College has received many accreditations. The College has specialisms in Sports, Science/Mathematics and more recently in Languages.

		International Baccalaureate. Ivybridge Community College is part of the family of "IB World Schools". IB World Schools are schools that share a common philosophy - a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that the College believes is very important for our learners. 		Argyle Star visits the College as part of Holiday Activity Programme During the October half term, Plymouth Argyle player Rory Fallon visited the College to sign autographs for those attending the two day Plymouth Argyle Football Festival.
