We start off on the Track and would like to say well done to Nelly from Year 8 (pictured) who took part in the Devon County Athletics Competition.
Not only did Nelly have a good competition winning a Bronze Medal for her Under 15 Category Race, but also picked up a PB in the process.
Well done to Nelly on her efforts.

Meanwhile, out on a different type of racetrack, both our teams in the Girls in STEM Group were burning rubber not far from Barnstaple in the Latest Greenpower Electric Car Racing heat.
Both teams had a good day in Chivenor, with both finishing in the Top Ten for their class, with one of them even picking up a bonus prize for ‘Best Presented Team’.
The Girls in STEM group has been on a roll recently, having competed last year in their third consecutive International Final – can they make it four in a row? – We’ll wait to see!

Meanwhile, some of our sporting stars were showing some artistic flair.
Well done to our Senior Dance Academy following their performance in the Dance National Heats, and a thoroughly deserved congratulations to our Junior Dance Academy on their third place finish.
We would also like to thank and congratulate members of our Elite Gymnastics Team following their performances in the Schools National Finals.
A special mention to our Under 19 Mixed Pairs Group who picked up another third place finish, as well as the Under 19 Boys Team who matched this with a bronze medal position of their own.
And last but not least, well done to our Under 19 Mixed Team for their Silver Medal Position finish at the event.
--------
Our footballers were out in force including our Year 10 Elite Football Team who were gallant runners-up in the Devon Cup Finals.
Meanwhile, we would like to congratulate our Year 9 Elite Football Team, who went one step further and are now Devon Champions!
And if that weren’t enough, how about this for a treble!
Well done to Spencer (Year 7) (pictured) who has had a superb season, picking up his own treble of trophies in his footballing activities.
As part of his team, he has tasted success by winning the Under 12s DJM Hood Top League, a League Cup and also the National EFS Tournament (his team going unbeaten for the league and cup campaign).
--------
Another Fortnight of sporting achievements including many individuals and teams achieving their own hat tricks and special prizes.
There’s more to come this summer, so watch this space for more!
