What is Musical Theatre?
We aim for all students to have the opportunity to learn and experiment with new techniques and develop their creative thinking and technical ability. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to perform. We will explore singing, dancing and acting through different texts, group tasks and songs with the view to performing our work in the summer term.
Sophie Hocking and Jenny Hardy will lead the Primary Musical Theatre Academy which is open to students of all abilities in Years 5 and 6.
Sessions cost £3.50 each with a discount for those eligible for Free School Meals. Discount can be viewed when signing up.
We welcome all our Musical Theatre Academy students who sign up in September to take part in our College Production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The dates for the Production are Thursday, 16 January to Saturday, 18 January 2025.
