Information for Parents and Candidates

External Written Exam Timetable

Government regulations now require awarding bodies (exam boards) to designate a ‘contingency day’ (as part of their contingency planning, in event of major disruption to the examinations system).  For the Summer (June) 2019  exam series Wednesday, 26 June 2019 has been designated the ‘contingency day’, therefore candidates are advised that they must remain available until and including this day to sit exams,  should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.

The A Level timetable does not include AS exams, as very few candidates now sit these exams, details of these can be found on the awarding body website or by contacting the exams office; or practical exam dates, which will be determined by Departments and conducted prior to the timetabled exam season starting on Monday, 13 May 2019.

Examination Certificates

All Summer 2018 Certificates are now available for collection from Millenium Reception until the end of March 2019.

All GCE and GCSE Certificates from Summer 2016 to Summer 2017 need to be collected as soon as possible from the Exams Office.

PLEASE NOTE: All visitors must sign in at the Millennium Reception. Students will need to show proof of identity.  If someone else collects on behalf of a student (including a parent), then the student must provide them with a letter which gives full consent.  This letter will be kept as proof of collection.  All certificates must be signed for.
