The 5 km Challenge was designed to encourage school children to get into running and compete against other schools in the area.  This year over 200 students took part in the event which was held following the Plymouth Open 10 km Race.

The course started on Royal Parade and the students were cheered on by the spectators who lined the streets.

In the Girls’ category Seren English in Year 11 came third, and in the Boys’ category Oliver Woodmason in Year 10 was second.  The team event of Seren English, Oliver Woodmason, Lewis Lee and Olivia Travers were 2nd place overall.

Well done to our trophy winners and to all who competed and represented the College.  Thanks go to Mr Clift, Mrs Philpot and Mrs Mitchell, who ran with the students in this great local event.
