We would like to take the opportunity to welcome you to Ivybridge Community College, introduce ourselves and briefly outline the CPD opportunities available to you at the College.

Where does Ivybridge Community College fit in?
Ivybridge Community College has been judged as an Outstanding School and a beacon of excellence (Ofsted Report 2006). The Training School was identified as a strength in the 2006 Ofsted Report. As such ICC applied and gained sole Training School status in 2007. Only 1% of schools in the UK are Training Schools so it is an accolade to be accepted. There are three main strands to our Training School (in no particular order):

• ITT - Initial Teaching Training
• CPD - Continuous Professional Development
• Research - to view examples of Research Abstracts click here

TRAINING SCHOOL enables each individual to develop themselves and others in a shared teaching and learning culture.
