Year 7 Focus Group

Focus group to  shared ideas about what makes a top student at Ivybridge Community

Recently some of our Year 7 students enjoyed a working lunch where they shared ideas about what makes a top student at Ivybridge Community College. Students were asked to comment on the use of planners, dealing with homework, the importance of uniform and participating in extra - curricular activities. All students felt that they were supported in all lessons and given many opportunities to discover new skills. We are all very proud of our year 7 students and know that this positive attitude and an eagerness to learn will help each and every one of them to reach their full potential.

“I record my homework on a white board above my desk and once it is complete I rub it off. I always try to complete homework as soon as I receive it, using the library at lunchtimes as I attend many after school clubs” -Thomas Pragnell 7FCM

“At ICC I have been given lots of opportunities and new challenges. This has been very exciting and I am very motivated to always try my best” – Kaden Bell 7SDN
