Opening Times:
Monday - Thursday : 8.45am to 5.00pm
Friday : 8.45am to 4.30pm
Situated in the College LRC, with a wide range of
multi-media information, the Careers Library is
really worth a visit.
This is the place to come if you are wondering just
what a job entails, what qualifications you need,
how to apply for a job / apprenticeship or you want
to find out about training and further education.
Mrs Atkinson, Work Related Learning / Careers Coordinator,
is usually available to give guidance between the
hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm.
There are computers with specialist Careers programmes,
local jobs and training information and all the
latest University / College Prospectuses are available.
Students can drop in at lunchtime for a quick chat
with a Connexions Advisor
or can book a full appointment for a more detailed
enquiry or a personal support session. If you would
like to make an appointment you can print off a Referral Form or ask your Tutor or Year Team Leader
who also have the forms. You should then hand the
referral form in to the Careers Library, your Tutor
or Year Team Leader and you will receive a confirmation
form telling you the date and time of your appointment.
